(More customer reviews)I think the review below reflects not so much the quality of the DaVinci choc syrup product, but a quirk in the taste buds of this particular reviewer, however sincere. I've used this product for about 10 years as a staple in my favorite protein shake -- Chocolate Mocha. This recipe blends Chocolate whey protein powder, DaVinci Choc syrup, cottage cheese, maybe some plain yogurt, perhaps a Tbsp or so of cream cheese -- and a blast of instant Espresso powder (or leftover strong coffee). (THIS will get you moving in the morning!)
I've tried the fruit flavors of DaVinci and they're OK, but not outstanding, IMHO. The pancake syrup is too thin ( get the grocery store syrup) but the Vanilla DaVinci syrups are excellent.
