(More customer reviews)In some reviews people claim this stuff will make you woozy or knock you out and I haven't found that to be the case at all. What I have found is that drinking an 8 ounce chilled glass about 1/2 an hour to 45 minutes before desired bedtime helps me get that naturally drowsy feeling where you're yawning and feeling the urge to lie down and snooze. It's not like a drug and it doesn't give you any hangover the next the day the way antihistamines can.
The first time I tried it, it had NO effect on me and thought it was a failure but then I gave it a second try during a time when I was feeling very stressed out and hadn't slept well in days. It totally did the trick. I think I was expecting too much the first time. I feel the key is not to wait to feel the effect before laying down. Drink the product (cold is best, hot is just nasty) and then within 30 minutes, get your butt to bed and lay down. if you keep walking around trying to do stuff, you won't feel the onset of the drowsiness as much.
If you order this, put a carton in the fridge the day you get it and don't wait until you need it because it doesn't taste good hot or room temp. It's best to have it chilled and waiting for you when you need it. I drink mine and then within 30 minutes I make sure to hit the restroom one last time so I don't defeat the purpose by waking up with a full bladder, and then I go lay down. It seems to help you fall into sleep without having the constant wakefulness insomniacs have. it doesn't seem to effect your dreams the way Ambien does and there's no hangover. Again, don't stay up waiting to "feel" the wooze. GO TO BED. It should work.
