needed. AND IT'S CALORIE FREE. The ingredients are NOT a list of dangerous additives like other commercial types. My husband is a doctor and looked it over for me and said it's good stuff. Highly recommend it and Walmart doesn't stock it anymore....too high priced and too high quality for Walmart, without a doubt.
