The nice quality dark chocolate shell is filled with a single lightly candied cherry, macerated in Asbach Uralt brandy. The combination of the rich, slightly bitter chocolate, with the fruity, sweet cherry, and the "bite" of the brandy is divine. No part of this is sickly sweet. It's definitely a treat for adult mouths only. I prefer this brand to the Boehme brand of cherries as the Asbach Uralt are slightly less sweet.

Due to the high quality and delicate nature of the Asbach Uralt liqueur filled chocolates, we do not ship between June - September. The "little delicacies from Ruedesheim-on-the-Rhine" are becoming evermore popular. This counter unit contains 50 ripe and full-bodied cherries marinated in Asbach Uralt Brandy. The cherries and the brandy are enveloped in dark chocolate without a sugar crust. (625g) Due to the high quality and delicate nature of the Asbach Uralt liqueur filled chocolates, we do not ship between April - September.
