(More customer reviews)What a delicious addition to my kitchen! I have a cookie recipe that calls for this particular product, and at first I thought "how much better could it be than using honey?? Well, the answer is, Much better! Not only that, it is scrumptious on pancakes or waffles! My husband loves honey, but he is stuck on this stuff! It's well worth the price!

Lyle's Golden Syrup was invented by Abram Lyle in 1883, and is used as an ingredient in a wide variety of sweet & savoury recipes. When Captain Scott set out on his Antartic expedition in 1910, he took with him some Lyle's Golden syrup. In 1956, some forty six years later, explorers found one of the cans. The syrup was still in good condition.
