(More customer reviews)I used the subscription discount to try this out last week, and have been very pleased with what I got. You get two sets of 4 cute (re-usable) tins, each containing 6 packets of the vanilla, caramel, mint, or milk chocolate cocoa mix.
I started out making the cocoa with 2% milk heated in the microwave, thinking that the hot water method would be too thin (and the hot milk version was very rich and sweet and frothy -- almost too sweet and rich, perhaps, though I slept very well immediately after finishing it, thanks to the hot milk!). Then I tried using plain old hot water from the microwave, and that's extremely satisfying -- chocolatey and frothy -- if a trifle less rich.
If I want the extra calcium or the soothing effect of the hot milk, I think I'd use hot skim or 1% milk, in future. But for now I'm enjoying the chocolatey treat made with hot water.
