(More customer reviews)These Dagoba Madagascar dark chocolate bars from the Sambirano region are probably the best deal of their kind on Amazon, and maybe anywhere.
I've sampled this variety of Madagascar chocolate, and hold it in very high esteem. It tastes subtly of citrus fruit---delicate and delicious.
If the package includes only 6 bars (the product page confusingly says it includes 12 bars), it's a great deal. In that case the cost comes to $3.54 for each 2 ounce bar.
(For 12 bars the price would be an impossibly low $1.77 per chocolate---so I tend to believe the 6-bar logo, not the description.)
Yet even at the "high" $3.54 per chocolate, this dark sweet is definitely a value, not least as the beans are grown on organic farms that tend the earth, as carefully as they tend the plants that generate this wondrous delight.
