(More customer reviews)At first, I bought a very small quantity of Cacao Mint Teavana tea. I have tried lots of Teavana's teas since I discovered Teavana several years ago. By lots, I mean I currently have over 20 bags of their tea in my pantry. They are great and rather novel around here to serve to guests.
While I've only found one flavor that I didn't care for, the Strawberry Purreh (or however it is spelled), the Cacao Mint is my favorite. I am so hooked on this tea. I have one cup every single morning.
At first, I was thinking that this would taste like watered down hot cocoa! UGH! But the taste doesn't remind me of that at all. As another reviewer wrote, it is a strong-flavored black tea- not bitter, but strong-flavored. The mint is potent and the cacao is more subtle. It reminds me more of a Frango mint or a Peppermint Patty! YUM!!
If you love mint, this is your tea! It brings back memories of being at my grandmother's and having her pick fresh mint from the garden to add to our tea. This tea is also good iced, but I prefer it hot.
