Maruto Milk Pudding Cake Review

Maruto Milk Pudding Cake
Average Reviews:

I was under the impression that this cake had a creamy pudding filling but I was wrong. I ate only 5 pieces since that is how much were in there, the picture for this product is not accurate because there is no 6 pieces. The taste is like twinkies dipped in candle wax. Do not buy this horrible thing.

Fujiya - Milky Candy 4.8 oz Review

Fujiya - Milky Candy 4.8 oz

This candy has a funk. The flavor is similar to sweetened condensed milk, but there is a really strong smell that's not sweet, but kind of stinky. It's sort of like super strong (not so fresh) condensed milk. Makes for bad breath too.
I gave this product 3 stars because it's appearance, wrapping and texture is fine.

These are wonderful snacks. I get a pack every month at least to have with tea. They go quickly, but I try to limit us! They are about 5$ at my global food store though! Try to find them locally if you can because they really are wonderful. 5 stars for taste and texture. 1 star for price. Average of 3.

Orion's Choco Pies beat Lotte's Choco Pies. I decided to do a taste tests since I've never had them and bought both versions. I ended up eating all of Orion's Choco Pies first and took my time to finish up Lotte. SO GOOD! You can usually get the 12 pack from your local Asian Grocery Store. I found them for $2. NO LIE.

I Mei Wafer Rolls Review

I Mei Wafer Rolls
Average Reviews:

Product of Taiwan.
Those are delicious egg roll cookies. Pair well with tea or coffee.
Each tin container has 8 foil packs, including 4 of sesame flavor and 4 of brown sugar flavor.
And, there are 5 cookie rolls in each foil pack. Good value.
My husband likes brown sugar a little better than sesame and I'm the opposite.
Overall, we enjoy both flavors. In addition to munching them as a snack, I also serve them to guests.
The interesting thing is, no matter what age they are (kids to seniors), our guests all enjoy them.
Plus, the package includes 2 nice paper gift bags that can make it a great gift for a friend or host/hostess.

Komforte Chockolates, French Toast in Milk Chocolate, 2.5-Ounce Bars (Pack of 12) Review

Komforte Chockolates, French Toast in Milk Chocolate, 2.5-Ounce Bars (Pack of 12)
Average Reviews:

The french toast flavor comes from buttery-salty-crispy bagel chips with all the appropriate spices and flavors of french toast. I'm a big fan of buttery-salty+chocolate, so this is a no-brainer for me. It also helps that it's good, high quality chocolate. Nice, creative turn from the average.

Komforte Chockolates, Ramen Noodle in 53% Dark Chocolate, 2.5-Ounce Bars (Pack of 12) Review

Komforte Chockolates, Ramen Noodle in 53% Dark Chocolate, 2.5-Ounce Bars (Pack of 12)
Average Reviews:

While at my friendly neighborhood Uwajimaya, I happened upon this freak of nature: the Komforte Chockolates Ramen Noodle bar.
After staring in dull incomprehension for some time, with occasional muttered interjections of "the hell?" and "but WHY?" and so forth, I bought it and took it home. Really, how could you not?
When first opened, the bar looked pretty much like your run-of-the-mill fancy-pants chocolate bar; no sign of eight-for-a-dollar pasta in evidence. Ah, but when I snapped off a piece, the mysterious amendment was revealed! It appeared to be in the same pre-fried but uncooked form that comes straight from the bag, with which starving students everywhere are intimately familiar.
There was nothing left to do but try it. *nosh*
The ramen noodles in this chocolate are pretty few and far between, offering more texture than taste; the texture itself is something akin to soft nuts or cornflakes. The shape, size and markings on the bar strongly suggest that Komforte is made and/or owned by the same outfit that makes Seattle Chocolates.
The quality of the chocolate itself is pretty good. It's good enough that it could stand on its own without playing up the quirk factor (Komforte's other offbeat chocolate bar flavors include French Toast and Tortilla Lime + Salt), but then they probably wouldn't be able to command premium prices for these chocolate bars. I'll probably try the others just to see what they're like, but I suspect the novelty factor wears off pretty quickly -- and then all you have left to market is an overpriced chocolate bar.

Tom and Sally's chocolate covered almonds are little bites of yum. They mix sweet, rich chocolate with satisfying almonds and a pinch of fine salt. You can't help but love these gourmet treats, free of the cheap ingredients and chemicals you'd usually find. While I enjoyed their chocolate covered macademia nuts more (can't find the amazon product link), these were almost as good and definitely worthy of 5 stars. Right now, it appears these are no longer available from amazon, so check out other Tom and Sally's handmade chocolates...or leonidas'
